DOMAINE LAMÉ-DELISLE-BOUCARD

Domaine Lamé-Delisle-Boucard traces its winemaking roots back to 1869, when Pierre Guyot began producing wine in the estate.

The domaine has remained in the hands of the same family through five generations, now led by Philippe Boucard. 

Domaine Lamé‑Delisle‑Boucard is celebrated for its long‑lived, terroir‑driven Bourgueil reds that showcase pure Cabernet Franc framed by mineral tension and supple tannins.

Spanning 44 hectares across varied terroirs, including gravel, sandy soils, and limestone clay, the domaine cultivates predominantly Cabernet Franc (90%) alongside a smaller proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).

The family’s history is deeply intertwined with the region’s tumultuous past, including World Wars, during which the family preserved extensive wine reserves in vast limestone caves dug deep beneath the land. This underground cellar system acts as a living museum with bottles dating as far back as 1911.

The Lamé-Delisle-Boucard Spirit

With a strong commitment to organic viticulture, the estate fosters biodiversity and natural soil health, showcasing hand-harvested grapes and sustainable farming practices. Winemaking honors the unique character of each parcels: fresh, vibrant wines emerge from gravel and sandy soils fermented in stainless steel, while the clay and limestone sites undergo traditional fermentation in wooden vats to achieve depth and complexity.

Aging takes place in large, old oak foudres without racking, and wines undergo only light filtration, resulting in elegant, mineral-driven wines with well-integrated acidity and balanced tannins. The wines of Lamé-Delisle-Boucard are known for their ability to age gracefully, reflecting the terroir’s minerality with depth and complexity.
