Joseph Cattin, an independent and family-owned winery, has been united for 300 years. Today, the estate is one of the largest family-owned estates in Alsace. It is currently managed by Jacques and Jean-Marie Cattin, along with the latest generation, Jacques Jr.
The vineyards span over 65 hectares and are situated in the Upper Rhine region. These plots benefit from diverse soils and altitudes ranging from 200 to 400 meters, encompassing a variety of terroirs and including some of Alsace’s most renowned Grand Crus. The vineyards are located across three key areas: Voegtlinshoffen, Steinbach, and Colmar.
Joseph Cattin’s commitment to quality and the preservation of Alsatian winemaking heritage ensures their continued success and recognition in the global wine community. The estate has earned a reputation for its exceptional wines, particularly Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Crémants d’Alsace.
