Château Le Coteau is one of the last small family-owned Margaux estate located in Arsac, to the west of the appellation. Eric Léglise continues his forefathers’ heritage, producing exceptional wines with passion and humility.
The 12 hectares of vineyard lie on classic Margaux Gunzian gravels, with most parcels bordering Grand Crus Classés such as Rauzan-Ségla, Giscours, du Tertre, and d’Issan.
Eric prioritizes environmental sustainability, cultivating the vines with the greatest respect for the environment. No herbicides or insecticides are used, creating a vineyard rich in biodiversity. Traditional methods are employed during vinification, preserving the purest character of the Margaux terroir and ensuring a remarkable tasting experience.
