Vineyards & Vinification

Grapes come from three steep hillside parcels of Cabernet Franc planted in clay-limestone: Beauvais, Brunetières, and Bézards. 

The wine is vinified in a wooden vats, with punching down and pumping over. Maceration lasted 20 days. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in oak tuns. Aged for 1.5 years in oak tuns, after a light filtration, the cuvée prestige was bottled in June 2020.

The Winery

Founded in 1869 by Pierre Guyot in Bourgueil, Domaine Lamé‑Delisle‑Boucard is now managed by fifth‑generation siblings Philippe and Stéphanie Boucard. The domaine spans 44 hectares of clay‑limestone soils on the south facing slopes of Beauvais, Brunetières and Bézards, with vines averaging 35–40 years of age.

Domaine Lamé‑Delisle‑Boucard is celebrated for its long‑lived, terroir‑driven Bourgueil reds that showcase pure Cabernet Franc framed by mineral tension and supple tannins.
