Vineyards & Vinification

Limited yields. Guyot pruning, with 5,500 vines per ha on average. Sustainable farming practices to preserve the richness of the terroirs.


Appearance: Bright and pale yellow with green reflects.
Nose: Mineral with citrus flowers.
Palate: Fresh, dry and mineral, with grapefruit flavours.

Goes well with fish, shellfish and raw food. It can also been enjoyed with white meats and fresh goat cheese. Traditionally in Alsace, it is enjoyed with choucroute!


The Winery

Maison Joseph Cattin, an independent and family-owned winery united for 300 years, has been dedicated to developing the originality of the soils to the richness of the grape varieties in order to give birth to a noble and elegant collection of Alsace wines.

The vineyards span over 65 hectares and are situated in the Upper Rhine region. These plots benefit from diverse soils and altitudes ranging from 200 to 400 meters, encompassing a variety of terroirs and including some of Alsace’s most renowned Grand Crus. The vineyards are located across three key areas: Voegtlinshoffen, Steinbach, and Colmar.
