Harvesting is done by hand. Wine was made by gentle pressing of the grapes. The first fermentation started between 18 and 22C. 2nd fermentation was done in-bottle, followed by 15 months aging on the lees before disgorgement.
Tasting Notes
Color: bright pale gold, fine bubbles.
Nose: Fresh, green apple and white flowers
Palate: Fresh and dry palate, lively acidity balanced with fruitiness of green apple and lemon. Fine and creamy bubbles.

Maison Joseph Cattin, an independent and family-owned winery united for 300 years, has been dedicated to developing the originality of the soils to the richness of the grape varieties in order to give birth to a noble and elegant collection of Alsace wines.The vineyards span over 65 hectares and are situated in the Upper Rhine region. These plots benefit from diverse soils and altitudes ranging from 200 to 400 meters, encompassing a variety of terroirs and including some of Alsace’s most renowned Grand Crus. The vineyards are located across three key areas: Voegtlinshoffen, Steinbach, and Colmar.
