Lieu-dit located in the heart of the blond part of Cote-Rotie. Terroir of very acidic schists, mixture of sand and small pebbles, held by dry stone walls.
Delicate nose of small red fruits, raspberry. Voluptuous in the mouth, pleasant mixture of finesse and power. Good length, a great cuvée of guard of Domaine Garon.

The vineyard is located on the blond terroir of Côte-Rôtie. Some hundreds of meters of stone walls hold back the golden coloured earth, characteristic of the blond of the appellation. These filtering soils are very acidic. The Syrah always gives beautiful grapes, even in difficult years. The very traditional work is only done by hand. Each vine grows around its own stakes, receiving the sunshine necessary to its good development, as well as a great aeration.

Exposure : south, south-west. Middle of the hillsides, protected from the north wind.
Vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Extractions soft and long. Post fermentation maceration of 3 weeks.
