100% Pinot Noir, from vines averaging 80 years of age.
This 0.35 ha plot lies in the heart of Clos Vougeot.

100% whole-cluster fermentation. Cold pre-maceration for one week, followed by a slow 10-day extraction to favour finesse and elegant fruit while maintaining good tannic structure. Aged 15 months in oak barrels, bottles unfiltered and according to the lunar calendar.

Production of 1,500 bottles per year.

The Chopin family owns some of the region’s prime vineyards, including Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot Premier Cru “Les Petits Vougeots”, and Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru.
