A very complex nose of small blackberries ant spice notes. Very powerful in mouth with rounded tannins, integrated with harmoniously woody, good aromatic persistency of sloe and liquorice. This Rasteau rouge could pair well with game and aged cheeses.

Rasteau “La Bastide” comes from one small vineyard, a blend of 50% Grenache with 50% Mourvèdre, which is unusual in Rasteau.
Vinification: Traditional method with destalking. No yeast added, pigeage, long fermentation at 26 °C.
Maturing: During 10 months in vats and in barrels.
