A beautiful wine in the vintage, the 2021 Gigondas Tradition Le Grand Montmirail has ample bright cherry and fresh mulberry-driven fruit as well as textbook peppery herbs and violet nuances. This fresh, medium-bodied, elegant 2021 has fine tannins and outstanding length. The blend is 70% Grenache and 10% each of Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, that was brought up in a mix of tank and older oak. It’s well worth following over the coming 10-12 years.

The Winery

Established in 1947 by André Brusset, the family estate based in Cairanne, in the heart of the southern Côtes-du-Rhône valley, has continued to progress and innovate. The estate now spans 70 hectares of vineyards across five prestigious appellations: Gigondas, Cairanne, Rasteau, Côtes-du-Rhône, and Ventoux.

Thanks to their meticulous work in the vineyard and the skilful use of new oak, they produce wines of remarkable quality and character, offering exceptional value for money.
