The Winery

Domaines Bouyer encompasses a group of top estates totaling 18 hectares in St. Emilion and Pomerol, including Château Milon Grand Cru, Clos de la Cure Grand Cru, and Clos 56, now in the capable hands of Alexia and Pierre Bouyer.

The wine of Chateau Milon is developed from 13 hectares of plots located on gravelly and sandy-clay soils at the foot of the slopes in the municipalities of Saint-Christophe des Bardes and Saint-Émilion. It is believed that vines were planted on the plateau in the Middle Ages.

The Bouyer family farms ecologically with great respect for the Grand Cru terroir. For this commitment, the estate has earned the demanding Haute Valeur Environnementale certification, one of the first in Saint Emilion to do so.
