Cru Monplaisir

A little known estate in Margaux, bordering both Ch. Margaux on one side and Ch. D’Issan on the other. A slightly unusual blend of overwhelmingly Merlot with small quantities of Cabernet Sauvigon and Cabernet Franc allow to take full advantage of the two types of soil found on the estate: gravel and clay. This explains its listing as a Bordeaux Superieur. Quite a rare find for the true connoisseur and offering great value.
