Flashback to the recent visit of Capucine and Claude Muzard of Domaine Lucien Muzard in late November 2024!
We were thrilled to introduce them to our partners, share stories, and showcase their incredible wines.
Throughout their stay, we visited wine shops and restaurant partners across the city who have proudly listed Lucien Muzard wines. It was a pleasure to see how warmly the Muzards were welcomed and to witness firsthand the enthusiasm from sommeliers and buyers as they deepened their understanding of the estate’s history, terroirs, and winemaking approach.
A special highlight was the private wine dinner held exclusively for members of the United Services Recreation Club. Guests were treated to a thoughtfully paired menu alongside a focused selection of Santenay cuvées and the newly introduced Pommard Vieilles Vignes—a recent addition to our Hong Kong portfolio. The evening offered an intimate setting for members to engage directly with Capucine and Claude, who shared personal insights into each wine. Judging by the lively discussions and empty glasses, the wines—and the stories behind them—were very well received.
We’re grateful to our partners and the club for making this visit so memorable. It’s always a joy to bridge the gap between winemakers and wine lovers.

The Burgundy Name You’ll Want to Remember
Domaine Muzard is a family-owned estate that has been producing exceptional wines for several generations. Some ancient records even identify a winemaker named Lucien Muzard as far back as 1645 in Santenay, the heart of the Côte-D’Or.
Two brothers, Claude since 1987 and then Herve three years later, take over the family estate from their father. They embark on a complete transformation to focus all 18 hectares on their passion for quality over quantity. They were both joined in 2019 by Capucine, Claude’s daughter. Today, Muzard is known for its dedication to balancing traditional techniques with more modern and organic methods, combined with a passionate commitment to producing high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of Côte de Beaune.
Both their Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays are praised for their elegance, finesse, and expression of the region’s distinct characteristics. No wonder Domaine Muzard’s wines can be found in some of the world’s best cellars and restaurants.
Proud to represent one of Santenay’s finest terroirs in Hong Kong!
