Summer Winery Tour: Château Mont-Redon

Next stop on our tour: the legendary Château Mont-Redon. As the largest single estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Mont-Redon is an institution. Walking through their sprawling 100-hectare vineyard, you truly feel the force of the terroir—a striking landscape of clay-limestone soils topped with the iconic galets roulés.

A Journey Through Time

We had the privilege of venturing into their historic cellar, a place where time seems to stand still. Marvelling at their prestigious collection of vintages dating back to the 1960s, it was a powerful reminder of the incredible aging potential and consistency that this estate is known for.

Mont-Redon’s wines are defined by their elegance and balance, even in the most powerful vintages. During our visit, we sampled everything from their Iconic Cuvée—already a firm favourite in our portfolio that continues to set the benchmark with its refined structure and classic spice—to exciting new references on the horizon. These vibrant expressions truly showcase the innovative spirit of the current winemaking team and the sublime potential of the estate’s future.
